WordPress Update 3.5.1 for Maintenance and Security

Now WordPress 3.5.1 is available. After version 3.5, version 3.5.1 is the first maintenance release, in which 37 bugs has been fixed. It’s also a security release to all older versions of WordPress. Some of the list of changes are written below:

  • Editor: Certain HTML elements has been prevented from being unexpectedly removed or modified in rare cases.
  • Media: In the new media manager a collection of minor workflow and compatibility issues has been fixed.
  • Networks: When creating a new network proper rewrite rules are suggested.
  • Posts prevented from scheduled stripping of certain HTML, such as video embeds, when they are published.
  • Some misconfigurations has been fixed which may have caused few JavaScript in the admin area of WordPress to fail.
  • Some warnings has been suppressed which could occur when any plugin misused the database or user APIs.
